Crush is the wine world's name for harvest season: the weeks when the year's entire crop comes in and everything happens at once. Pickers start before dawn, presses run past midnight, and the winery smells of nothing but fresh juice, skins, and stems. Every winemaker measures their life in crushes, and every one of them will tell you it is equal parts exhaustion and joy.
This candle is the cellar in September: burnt orange, clove, and cinnamon, heady and sweet, the smell of a year's work becoming wine.
